The one-day Workshop aims at encouraging the dialogue and the exchange of information between the railway sector
- with its increasing demands for accurate and traceable measurements of power, electrical energy consumption,
power efficiency, and quality - and the partners of the research project MyRailS, funded by EURAMET,
the European Association of National Metroly Institutes, and coordinated by INRIM within EMPIR,
the European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research.
The workshop, which is is addressed to research centres, public and private companies and regulatory bodies,
will also offer the opportunity to present the first results of MyRailS and to discuss and define together
with the stakeholders the most appropriate research approaches to maximise the positive impact of the project
on the railway sector.
